Reflection on 2018.
Wow, what a year 2018 was for us at Sambur - starting off small with a few clients each week seeing Sam, opening our small retail shop and then expanding to having two further awesome practitioners working alongside us. Thanks to you, our clients and friends who have been to visit Sam, Aaran, Paige and Marty at our Sambur Studio in Kerikeri and at Vitality in Paihia, your support is greatly appreciated.
A New Practitioner.
We have the pleasure of welcoming Lisa Maurer - a Craniosacral Therapist who has joined our team. Besides Craniosacral therapy and "EmbodyBirth" classes that Lisa has offered since 2005, she will start to offer Womb Healing Massages and the "5D Emotion Scan" which is a new bio-feedback system. 2019 and beyond.
This year we have seen some expansion changes with a new treatment room being set up behind the existing studio. This has allowed us to provide new offerings for practitioner modalities and improved availability for our clients. Sam and Lisa will be working out of this new room which provides greater comfort and privacy.
Couples Massage Workshops?
Ever wanted to learn safe basic massage techniques to use at home with you and your partner/friend? Sam has put together a fantastic 2-3 hour training workshop. Register your interest in this workshop with Sam or Marty.
Marty's New Career Path
2018 saw Marty move towards correcting his broken heel bone from a bad car crash on the mid 2000's. This has led him to a change in career path from sports turf management to Nutrition and Herbal Medicine. He has been accepted into the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine and starts his study in early February. He looks forward to using this knowledge to offer more natural health options through Sambur Clinic in the future.
